Been getting a mild though unaffordable urge to take a nice road trip, like Route 66 from Oklahoma west, or the Dempster and Tuktoyaktuk highways. This video I and II are great!

Vous, vous êtes du Québec hein ? Le mot vidéo n'est masculin que dans la belle province. Moi aussi la Route 66 ça me tente bien...

Thos vintage gas stations no longer sell gas. I didn't see any real gas stations.

Very good and very beautiful. From the Garibaldi RS Brazil
È meraviglioso poter dire “Io c’ero” Grazie mille di questo montaggio lo guarderò sempre per ricordarmi di quel bellissimo giorno
Great video. So many Route 66 videos skip over Springfield, MO, but you did not. I was born there and it was my home for several years. I fondly remember Red Foley and the Ozark Jubilee, the Gilloiz Theater, the Shrine Mosque. There was even a sign at one of the stops that showed Rogersville, MO (on US 60, east of Springfield) which was actually our address when I was a kid (rural route 3). We visited San Jose, CA when I was eight years old (1957) and we travelled much of 66 on that trip, in the days before I-40 or I-44...even in Oklahoma, my dad refused to pay to use the newly built turnpikes...staying on what was one of roughest roads I remember....driving along, bouncing our insides out, longing looking at the turnpike about a hundred yards away.
Thanks for taking us on your journey across America on Route 66. Three years ago today we flew out from Scotland to do this exact trip and it was, to date, the most incredible experience of my life. It always amazes me how much there is to see across all those States. We saw many of the same things as you but there were just as many places you visited that we didn't because we were off seeing something else so it was really nice to get a glimpse of those things on your video! I honestly believe you could drive this road several times and see something completely different each time.
this was amazing..thank you
Good choice in music, Yall..........John in Houston..................
Great video brings back memories.
So well done! The camera work on the route, soundtrack, and your choice of highlights and pointing out the fun and curious details is superb! So beautiful, showing every bit of classic Americana along the way. Honestly, if we never get the chance of taking the ‘mother road’ ourselves THIS IS the next best experience.
Excellent Initiative
This was awesome in so many ways. The heart of America and great music too ! Long live route 66 and God Bless America.
This is route 66 GOLD! Beautiful footage, especially in AZ. Thank you for sharing!

Hi, thanks for the great video we have watched it 3 times now. Do you have any tips for travelling route 66, my wife and I are going to ravel it later this year.
Hello, Thank you for your compliments ! Before leaving, we have planned everything. We have memorized the route and all the interesting points on a GPS navigator. We booked all the hotels along the way. We even planned the music we would listen to ! :-) Good journey and good luck !
@@ilbaronegrosso thanks for replying we will do all of the planning, I am not sure about the music though as my wife isn't really into Prog rock for 17-18 days.
